Frances (‘Fran’) Clower

Frances (‘Fran’) Clower came to AFBC in 2015 after many years’ experience working as the full-time Administrator for The Salvation Army and also part-time bookkeeper for local nonprofits in Humboldt County. Fran serves on our staff as the Treasurer as well as serving as the Treasurer for Arcata Christian School.

Frances brings her passion to see an organization ‘fulfill its vision’ by serving to administrate that vision through financial experience and fiscal integrity. Whether you are a new arrival, volunteer or staff – the promise is that everyone is treated fairly, with dignity and respect.

Fran ‘gives back’ to the community through V.I.T.A. (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program which offers free tax help to persons with disabilities, lower income, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.
