Children’s Ministry

Welcome to our Children's Ministry page! Arcata First Baptist Church is committed to providing a safe and spiritual environment for your nursery and Sunday School age children. Presently, due to the Covid-19 virus we have elected to include both our nursery and Sunday School age children into the Sunday morning service.

Tables and chairs are set up in the back of the church sanctuary where parents can oversee their children as they sing, color and do craft activities during the service. We will revisit our Children's Ministry in the Fall as we monitor Covid-19 guidelines and get input from our parents regarding going back to separate Nursery and Sunday School classes for the children.

Children's Ministry

Arcata First Baptist Church is committed to providing excellent Christian material for your children. Currently we are using Gospel Light curriculum (pre-school through 3rd grade) which is sent home with parents each week to go over with their children at a time of their choosing.
